“The Salted Earth Part Two: More Than Words”

In "The Salted Earth Part Two: More Than Words," Deadpool grapples with the weight of his past actions when a sincere apology from Taskmaster forces him to confront the limits of redemption. As Allison sharpens her revenge with a stolen aircraft and a team of deadly mercenaries, Deadpool must face the fallout of his own choices—realizing that some wounds can't be healed with words alone. Written by Daniel Way and brought to life by Alé Garza, Matteo Lolli, and a stellar team of inkers, colorists, and letterers, with a striking cover by Dave Johnson, this 2012 issue dives into the messy, unpredictable heart of accountability.

Deadpool finally realizes that sometimes simply apologizing just isn't enough (you know, when you do something totally jacked up to somebody and mess up their life and all). Allison continues her quest for revenge by stealing an advanced aircraft and putting her hired assassins through their paces to make sure they are good enough to kill Deadpool. Meanwhile, Deadpool confronts Taskmaster for totally messing up his life and all and Taskmaster simply and sincerely apologizes.
