Deadly Foes of Spider-Man #4

The four-part "Endgame" miniseries wraps up with a fittingly chaotic cover by Al Milgrom, depicting Spider-Man at the center of an all-out brawl with a crowd of villains — including the Beetle swooping in overhead, the Rhino lumbering behind, and what appears to be the Kingpin's crew and other costumed foes closing in from every angle. It's a wonderfully dense 1991 Marvel composition that captures the sheer weight of facing so many deadly foes at once. Danny Fingeroth and Milgrom bring this villain-focused story to a close with "While the City Screams!" — a fitting title for a finale that promises very little going smoothly for anyone involved.
