Set against a stark white background, this issue's cover by Wes Craig delivers a striking minimalist punch — a tattooed young woman mid-leap, katana raised and teeth bared, rendered almost entirely in black and red ink that makes her intricate sleeve tattoos and red sneakers pop with fierce energy. A severed hand at the bottom of the image adds a darkly matter-of-fact punctuation mark to the whole scene. Rick Remender and Craig's Deadly Class continues to be one of Image's most stylish and visceral series, and this 2015 issue shows exactly why.
