This is an anthology western comic featuring multiple stories. "The Outlaw Wore Golden Earrings," set in 1875 at Cheyenne, Wyoming, follows a stagecoach passenger named "Big Nose" George Parrot who wears bright gold earrings and is traveling toward a waiting stage. The earlier pages depict a military conflict involving Colonel Miles pursuing Chief Joseph's Nez Perce tribe across the Bear Paw Mountains, with a separate subplot showing a sheriff's jail under siege by a mob demanding to lynch a prisoner named Reno.
