De Kleine Robbe #15

The fifteenth volume of De Kleine Robbe arrives with a cover that perfectly captures the series' cheerful, slapstick spirit: little Robbe is nearly swallowed whole by a massive overstuffed backpack that dwarfs him completely, his wide eyes suggesting he's not entirely sure how this happened — while a tiny snail at his feet seems to be keeping a more dignified pace. Tome and Janry deliver their signature warm cartooning with this 2010 Dupuis release, and the title Loop Rechtop! ("Walk Upright!") takes on a wonderfully ironic ring given the circumstances. A charming addition to the series for fans of all-ages Belgian humor.
