The fourteenth album in Tome and Janry's beloved Belgian series finds the little redheaded Robbe looking decidedly worse for wear — a big bump on his forehead says it all — while he clutches a grumpy, overdressed white cat with green hair against his bright red outfit. The Dutch title Eigen Schuld, Dikke Bult! ("Serves You Right, Big Bump!") perfectly captures the mischievous, slapstick spirit radiating from this warm orange cover. A charming 2009 entry from Dupuis that fans of all ages will find hard to resist.
