De Kiekeboes #24

The Kiekeboes are back in their 24th album, De Anonieme Smulpapen — and the kitchen is anything but under control. The cover plunges us straight into gloriously chaotic culinary disaster: a wild-eyed chef in a smoke-blackened kitchen wrestles with an exploding pot while two alarmed women — one clutching a roast on a platter — look on in barely contained horror. Merho's cheerful, expressive linework makes the mess irresistible, with cookbooks, scattered vegetables, and splattered sauces rounding out a scene that promises plenty of delicious mayhem ahead.
