De Kiekeboes #23

Volume 23 of Merho's beloved Belgian comedy series finds the streets of Antwerp — with its unmistakable cathedral tower rising in the background — looking anything but peaceful. Front and center, a spiky-haired youngster in a red bow tie and bright green trousers has his fist raised at a startled man in a checked suit, while a grumpy figure in a red scarf and several other characters scatter and scuffle across the cobblestoned scene. De Snor van Kiekeboe ("Kiekeboe's Moustache") promises the kind of boisterous, warm-hearted chaos that has made De Kiekeboes a staple of Dutch-language comics for decades.
