As the heroes make a last stand against the undead New Gods on Earth-2, Alfred Pennyworth has become the Spectre, but he leaves the fight to pursue an unknown mission. Brainiac is corrupted by the Anti-Life equation, but Cyborg is able to take control of Brainiac, and uses Brainiac's knowledge to find a new weapon against Darkseid's forces. Meanwhile Jon Kent tries to stop a Warworld weapon from destroying Earth-2.
