“A Stillness and a Storm”

In "A Stillness and a Storm," Green Arrow races to Smallville to rescue captives from a vampire feeding ground, while Steel, Black Manta, and Jayna push forward with Supergirl toward Australia, hoping to restore her powers—only to face Aquaman, now transformed into a vampire. Meanwhile, Batgirl, Black Canary, Harley Quinn, and Frankenstein make a desperate push into Gotham, aiming to strike down the vampire king, Dick Grayson. Written by James Tynion IV and Matthew Rosenberg, with bold, atmospheric art by Otto Schmidt, and a striking cover by Guillem March, this 2022 issue delivers escalating tension across fractured fronts in a world where heroes must confront both monstrous enemies and the eerie cost of survival.
