DC Universe vs. Masters of the Universe #2

The cover of this 2013 crossover says it all — a crackling, power-surging Skeletor towers over a battlefield littered with fallen DC heroes, including Batman, Superman, Wonder Woman, and He-Man himself, all apparently brought low by Eternia's most dangerous villain. Cover pencils by Ed Benes and inks by Alejandro Sicat give Skeletor a genuinely imposing presence, with arcs of blue energy swirling around him as the tagline "Skeletor Unleashed!" drives home just how dire things have gotten. Writers Keith Giffen and Tony Bedard, with interior art by Dexter Soy, bring the crossover's second chapter — "Justice Denied" — to shelves with a cover that makes a strong case for the DC Universe being very much outmatched.
