DC Special #15
☆ Be the first to review + Add to your collection — Join freeDC Special #15 brings 48 pages of stretchy, shape-shifting fun to December 1971, spotlighting Plastic Man in a package centered on his sensational origin. Dick Giordano's cover captures the rubbery hero at his most gleefully versatile — a giant grinning face looms above the cityscape while elongated limbs snap and slingshot crooks through the air, with three action-packed vignettes below showing Plas morphing into a box to fool thieves and tangling a whole gang around a fire hydrant. Rounding out the issue is a bonus solo story starring his lovably hapless pal Woozy Winks, all backed by Jack Cole's original art and writing that made Plastic Man one of comics' most enduringly entertaining characters.

When Woozy saves the life of Zambi the Soothsayer, little did he realize that he'd be rewarded with invulnerability and immunity to pain. To decide his course in life, he flips a coin and pursues a life of crime, soon becoming partners with Eel O'Brian. Plas talks Woozy into turning himself in, but when he does, the Police discover that Woozy's powers prevent him from being held. So a deal is made for Woozy to help Plastic Man capture Eel O'Brian!
