Written by Dave Gibbons and illustrated by Pat Olliffe, with inks by Livesay, colors by Tom McCraw, and letters by Jared K. Fletcher, this 2004 issue features a bold, kinetic cover by Brian Bolland.

While trying to stop some crooks from stealing from the Time Pool, the Atom gets stuck on Earth-Prime. He gets back home while riding a grenade thrown by Tex Ford --who provides speed-- and using the grenade's explosive power. The idea for his return comes from Gardner and Julie.
