Daydreamers #1
☆ Be the first to review + Add to your collection — Join freeSpinning out of the pages of Generation X, Daydreamers #1 arrives in 1997 with one of Marvel's most wonderfully offbeat ensemble covers — three mutants, a young boy sporting a Fantastic Four logo tee, a tie-wearing duck, and what appears to be an alien, all clustered together atop a lush, overgrown mass of twisted vines and greenery, with an ominous silhouetted figure lurking in the background. The cover tagline promises "three mutants, one alien, one monster, and one very angry duck on a journey into the unknown," and Martin Egeland and Howard Shum deliver that sense of wide-eyed, slightly chaotic adventure in every detail. If you're in the mood for something genuinely unusual from the Marvel Universe, this "1st Fantasy-Filled Issue" looks like a fine place to start.
