A sunny day at the beach turns into a comedy of errors in this 1970 DC charmer, with cover art by Henry Scarpelli. Debbi stands in her bikini holding up what is clearly someone else's beach towel, quipping to the reader that it ended up in the lunch basket — while a mortified, blue-haired guy crawls on the sand nearby and a blonde girl looks on in the background. It's a breezy, lighthearted snapshot of the teen humor genre that made Date with Debbi such an enjoyable corner of DC's 1970 lineup.
