Darling Love #10
☆ Be the first to review + Add to your collection — Join freeDarling Love #10 brings another dose of heartfelt drama from Archie's "Real Stories of True Romance" line, with cover art by Harry Lucey capturing a charged wedding scene — a bride in full veil and gown, her groom beside her, a dejected young man looking on from the left, and a minister presiding at what appears to be a stained-glass church altar. The thought bubbles tell the whole bittersweet story: two people standing at the altar, each secretly longing for someone else, while a caption teases "I made two men who loved me madly dance to my tune — but it was I who paid the piper!" Lucey's clean, expressive linework gives this 1952 romance comic real emotional punch, and "The Easy Road" promises exactly the kind of tangled hearts and hard lessons the series does so well.
