“The Duck Knight Returns, Part 4”

Poor Darkwing Duck is in serious trouble on the cover of this 2010 Boom! Studios release — he's been squeezed, shocked with crackling electricity, and pelted with what looks like a broom and other unseen assailants' hands, his wide eyes and ruffled feathers saying everything about how badly this day is going. James Silvani's cover art captures the hero's signature wide-brimmed hat and purple cape while gleefully putting the self-proclaimed terror that flaps in the night through the wringer. "The Duck Knight Returns" wraps up its four-part run here, and if this chaotic cover is any indication, the conclusion promises plenty of action and comedic mayhem for fans of St. Canard's finest.
