Darkhawk #3
☆ Be the first to review + Add to your collection — Join freeSpider-Man leaps front and center on Mike Manley's cover for this May 1991 issue, with Darkhawk's armored chest-piece gleaming below him and the snarling face of Hobgoblin looming in the background — promising a three-way clash that the cover's bold "Showdown with Hobgoblin!" tag makes no effort to downplay. Darkhawk was still a fresh face in the Marvel Universe at this point, and pairing him with a guest shot from Spider-Man was a smart, energetic way to signal that this series meant business. "Power Play" looks like exactly the kind of street-level Marvel action that made 1991 a great time to be pulling issues off the spinner rack.
