Darkhawk #12
☆ Be the first to review + Add to your collection — Join freePart 3 of the "Heart of the Hawk" saga finds Darkhawk in a dark, debris-strewn tunnel, his razor-sharp claws extended as he squares off against the looming, grey-skinned menace of Tombstone — who wields a heavy chain with clear intent. The cover, penciled and inked by Mike Manley, frames the confrontation with an unsettling sense of claustrophobic menace, while a brooding creature lurks in the shadows to the left, adding another layer of threat. Marvel's cover copy promises this is decidedly "not the tunnel of love," and with Tombstone guest-starring in this February 1992 issue, that's a very safe bet.
