The twelfth issue of Image's Dark Ride arrives with a cover that captures the series' carnival-horror atmosphere at full intensity — a demon-masked ride car, jaws agape, hurtles forward while a young woman cowers in the seat as a leather-jacketed man throws a punch behind her, all while a horned, winged demon looms overhead in a blazing orange inferno. Andrei Bressan's linework and Adriano Lucas's fiery colors make the whole scene feel like a haunted attraction that has genuinely gone off the rails. Williamson, Bressan, and Lucas continue to make this one of Image's most visually striking horror titles.
