Dark Reign: The List - Avengers #1
☆ Be the first to review + Add to your collection — Join freePart of Marvel's 2009 Dark Reign crossover event, this one-shot carries an unmistakable sense of menace right from its striking cover by Marko Djurdjević — a gloved hand smearing a bold, bloody red mark across a white surface, with a face eerily emerging from within the crimson strokes. The imagery feels less like a superhero cover and more like a declaration of war, perfectly capturing the dark, oppressive tone of The List storyline. With Brian Michael Bendis writing and Djurdjević also handling interior art alongside inker Mark Morales and colorist Marte Gracia, this is a visually cohesive package that promises something genuinely unsettling for the Avengers.

With the mutant Utopia officially declared a prison camp, Clint has seen enough and tells the Avengers that he is going to hunt down and kill Osborn. He sneaks into the old Stark Tower solo and cuts his way through Norman's Avengers, finally making it to the main man himself.
