“Death Metal: An Anti-Crisis - Part I - It All Matters”

In "Death Metal: An Anti-Crisis - Part I - It All Matters," Wonder Woman, Batman, Harley Quinn, and Swamp Thing journey to Apokolips to rescue a captive Superman from Darkfather, a twisted echo of Batman serving Darkseid. Meanwhile, Robin King arrives to warn the Justice Society, Barry, and Wally of the Darkest Knight—the terrifying evolution of the Batman Who Laughs—now hunting the speedsters across the Multiverse, while Lobo presses forward on an enigmatic mission. Written by Scott Snyder and brought to life with bold, dynamic art by Greg Capullo, inks by Jonathan Glapion, and vivid colors by FCO Plascencia, the Deluxe Edition cover by Capullo and Glapion captures the epic scale of this crisis.

Wonder Woman, Batman, Harley Quinn, and Swamp Thing travel to Apokolips to free Superman, who is being held captive by Darkfather, a Darkseid version of Batman. Meanwhile, Robin King appears before the Justice Society, Barry, and Wally to herald the arrival of the Darkest Knight, the new lifeform that the Batman Who Laughs has evolved into. The Darkest Knight plans to steal the powers of the Multiverse from Wally, prompting Barry, Wally, and Jay to try to outrun the Darkest Knight. Elsewhere, Lobo continues on a mysterious mission.
