Dark Ivory #2

Joseph Michael Linsner's painted cover for Dark Ivory #2 is a striking piece of work — a pale, dark-haired vampire woman in a black corset and thigh-highs poses dynamically against a vivid crimson background, rivulets of blood streaking the composition while a clawed hand reaches in from the left. A inset panel along the bottom closes in on her fanged mouth, a cool finishing touch that drives the series' gothic sensibility home. "Blue Blood Chapter Two: Spellbound" continues this 2008 Image series, written by Linsner and Eva Hopkins with art fully rendered by Linsner himself.
