In "The Kingpin Must Die," retired crime lord Wilson Fisk, now living in Japan, sends his wife Vanessa to New York to enlist Matt Murdock and Foggy Nelson to help him testify against East Coast mob bosses. When Vanessa is captured by rival gangsters hoping to lure Fisk back for a kill, Daredevil intervenes—leading to a tense showdown with Bullseye that threatens to unravel everything.

In "In the Kingpin's Clutches," Matt takes a dangerous gamble, infiltrating the Kingpin's inner circle to steal vital intelligence on the underworld. When his cover is blown, the Kingpin unleashes brutal retribution—only to turn his fury on the men holding his wife, Vanessa, in a moment that ends in tragedy.

In "Gang War!", the Kingpin, consumed by grief over the presumed death of his wife, seizes control of the criminal underworld and enlists Bullseye as his enforcer. Daredevil, drawn into the chaos, confronts Bullseye in a brutal showdown, but chooses to leave the Kingpin intact—letting the man remain in power as his empire begins to rebuild.

In "The Damned," Daredevil follows a clue from a photo taken by Ben into the city's treacherous sewers, chasing whispers of the Kingpin's missing wife. With Cherryh's mayoral victory hanging in the balance, the Kingpin demands a concession—only to order Elektra to eliminate Foggy in cold blood.
