Two smartphone screens fill this cover by Phil Noto, one capturing a scowling, red-eyed Daredevil in his crimson suit and the other showing the bloodied, unconscious face of an unknown figure — someone holding those phones clearly has both subjects in their sights. It's a quietly unsettling image that frames the Man Without Fear as a subject of surveillance rather than just a street-level hero, and Noto's soft, luminous colors make the tension feel all the more intimate. Charles Soule and Noto together deliver one of the more visually inventive covers of this 2018 run.
