Daredevil #511
Part four of Marvel's "Shadowland" arc arrives in Daredevil #511, and John Cassaday's cover makes an immediate impression — a darkly-clad Daredevil stands dominant over a sprawl of fallen figures, including what appear to be Spider-Woman and at least two other downed heroes, all rendered against a stark red-and-black ground. The image carries a real sense of unease, suggesting a Man Without Fear who may have strayed somewhere troubling. Andy Diggle and Roberto de la Torre bring the story, with Matt Hollingsworth's coloring amplifying every shadow in this pivotal 2010 chapter.
