Daredevil #504
Andy Diggle and Roberto De La Torre's run on Daredevil delivers some of its grittiest imagery yet in this 2010 installment of "The Devil's Hand." Esad Ribić's cover pulls no punches, depicting Daredevil's red-suited figure collapsed and bloodied on a grim concrete floor, surrounded by several downed figures — a stark portrait of a hero pushed to his absolute limits. Matt Hollingsworth's muted, bruising color palette gives the whole scene a raw, street-level weight that perfectly suits the tone of the Man Without Fear.
