Laurent Levasseur wakes up in a hospital room in France with fuzzy memories and fuzzy eyesight. He seems to be an agent on a mission but he isn't quite sure who he works for or what he is supposed to do. SHIELD agent Harlan knows that Laurent is really Matt Murdock, deep undercover with his memories reprogrammed, but Harlan is killed before he can give this information to anyone else. Matt has a new identity and is on his own in a foreign country with no support and no way to get back to his old life.
