Daredevil #350

Daredevil's 350th issue arrives as a double-sized milestone, and the cover — penciled and inked by Ron Wagner and Bill Reinhold — sets an appropriately ominous tone: the Man Without Fear crouches in a combat-ready stance, billy club in hand, while two enormous masked faces loom in the shadows above him with the warning "Sometimes the Past Can Kill…" The composition elegantly suggests that whatever haunts Daredevil here is larger than any single opponent. With J. M. DeMatteis and Ivan Velez Jr. on writing duties and a full creative team bringing "Paradiso, Part Two" to life, this 1996 Marvel Edge issue delivers the kind of weighty, atmospheric storytelling this series does best.
