Daredevil #2

Daredevil is caught in a deadly storm of arrows on this striking cover by Ron Garney, his white-and-red costume pierced as he strains against the barrage — while a looming, dark-clad figure with clawed hands presides ominously overhead, flanked by the flicker of a candelabra. The stark black-and-red palette gives the whole composition an almost ritualistic tension that feels perfectly suited to the Man Without Fear's darker corner of the Marvel universe. Charles Soule and Garney, with colors by Matt Milla, are clearly committed to putting Daredevil through the wringer right from issue two.
