“There's Trouble in New York City...That's Trouble with a Capital 'T' Which Rhymes with 'D' That Stands for Daredevil!”

Daredevil stands with his back to us on a rooftop, billy club raised, caught between two identically blue-suited attackers closing in from either side — the cover caption makes clear one is the Torpedo and the other his double, with DD declaring he's "doomed" whichever way he turns. The tagline "Two Against the Chameleon!" promises a double-trouble threat that plays perfectly to the Man Without Fear's predicament. Cover pencils by Rich Buckler and inks by Frank Giacoia give the composition a dynamic, almost cinematic energy that makes this June 1976 issue hard to put down before you've even opened it.
