Dantes #1
This first volume of the Dantes series collects the opening chapters of a story set in a fantastical version of medieval Italy, where the poet Dante Alighieri is reimagined as an action-oriented hero. The narrative blends historical figures and locations with supernatural elements, as Dante embarks on a perilous journey through a world inspired by his own literary works. Created by German writer and artist Jens R. Nielsen, this edition presents the initial installments of the series originally published by Mosaik Steinchen für Steinchen Verlag.
Dantes #1 (2010) features the story "Der Sturz eines Traders," following a high-stakes financial thriller drawn by Erik Juszezak, with writing by Pierre Boisserie, Philippe Guillaume, and Michael Hug. The issue presents a tense narrative centered on a trader’s downfall, rendered in a stark, detailed visual style.
