This collected edition continues the modern adaptation of Alexandre Dumas' The Count of Monte Cristo, set in the world of high finance and corporate intrigue, as the protagonist exacts his calculated revenge on those who wronged him.
Dantès #1 (2007), published by Dargaud, presents the story "La chute d'un trader" with writing by Pierre Boisserie and Philippe Guillaume, and artwork by Erik Juszezak, who also handled inking, while Juliette Nardin provided coloring. The cover was created by Erik Juszezak, who both penciled and inked it. The issue features the character Dantès.
