This fifth issue of WildStorm's Dante's Inferno — based on the EA video game — delivers a cover as unsettling as the source material deserves: a tormented, decaying face emerges from a swirling mass of dark, organic tendrils on the left, while a ghostly, bound figure slashed by a vivid red blade dominates the right side in stark monochrome. Diego Latorre's painted cover art blends the visceral and the ethereal with real craft, making "Devastation" feel like an appropriately grim title for what lies within. Christos Gage and Latorre's collaboration continues to bring one of gaming's darkest journeys through Hell to the comics page in style.
