Danger #1

"Danger" #1 is an anthology comic containing at least two stories. "Blubber!" follows two rivals, Jansen and Thornberg, who are in a fierce competition for the affections of a woman named Nan; when Thornberg interrupts a meeting between Jansen and Nan, it appears to lead to murder, but is eventually resolved with Nan agreeing to marry whoever brings in the most whale tonnage within a month. Another story depicts workers in a tunnel dealing with a dangerous fire caused by high oxygen levels in the air, with one character named O'Brien refusing to evacuate despite the hazardous conditions.
