“Troll's Day”

The cover of this July 1994 DC issue says it all: a massive, fang-baring troll clutches Damage in its rocky grip while the energy-wielding Wyldheart hovers above, twin fireballs crackling at her hands and a blazing beam converging on the creature below — with the bold caption posing the question "Friend or Foe?!" Cover pencils by Bill Marimon and inks by Tom McWeeney give the scene a satisfying raw energy, with Damage looking understandably alarmed from his precarious position. Whether Wyldheart's power is aimed at the troll or at our hero makes this one a genuinely fun pickup for fans of the series.
