Damage #3

Part of DC's 2018 "New Age of Heroes" initiative, Damage #3 pits Wonder Woman directly against the massive, hulking Damage in a confrontation that radiates tension right off the cover. Tony S. Daniel and Danny Miki's artwork captures the Amazon warrior standing her ground between the creature's enormous hands, her Lasso of Truth coiling around him as debris rains down against a blood-red sky. It's a striking visual showdown — a determined hero facing a force of near-unstoppable destruction — that makes this issue hard to put back on the shelf.
