Dad #6
The sixth volume of Nob's charming Dupuis series captures the beautifully chaotic heart of solo parenting: a sweaty, wide-eyed dad simultaneously lugs a laundry basket, pushes a vacuum, and balances a baby on his shoulder — all while a pink-haired teen zones out on the floor with headphones, a red-hooded toddler runs wild, a bespectacled older daughter peers skeptically from the open fridge, and a pot smokes ominously on the stove in the background. "Père à tout faire" (roughly, "Handyman Dad" or "Dad Who Does It All") sums up the scene perfectly — this is a household perpetually one soccer ball away from total collapse, and it's utterly delightful. If you've ever tried to hold a family together through sheer stubborn love and a vacuum cleaner, this one will feel very familiar.
