D'Orc #4

Brett Bean's D'Orc keeps the laughs and peril coming in issue #4, "Trust Your Gut" — and the cover makes a strong case for both. A scrappy band of fantasy misfits stands their ground atop a rocky outcropping while a pair of massive, wide-eyed creatures loom in the foreground, their toothy grins and cartoonishly oversized expressions somehow equal parts menacing and hilarious. Jean-François Beaulieu's vivid colors give the whole scene a lively, storybook energy that perfectly captures the "Half Dwarf, Half Orc, All…" spirit of this Image series.
