The fifth chapter of "Rising From the Ashes" arrives in September 2006, with cover pencils by Pat Lee depicting the full Cyberforce roster locked in a tense, battle-worn formation — a snarling feral figure at the center, flanked by a dark-cloaked woman channeling crackling purple energy, a red-haired young woman in gold trim, a goggled sniper overhead, and a demonic, red-eyed creature crouching at the fore. Writer Ron Marz brings the team saga to this penultimate moment, and the cover's brooding cave setting and coiled mechanical serpent at the bottom hint that the team's trial is far from over.
