Cyberella #6
☆ Be the first to review + Add to your collection — Join freeFrom DC's Helix imprint comes this quietly unsettling sixth chapter of "Silent Weapons, Quiet Wars," with a cover by Don M. Cameron that turns a mundane breakfast scene into something delightfully strange. A young woman with an enormous green-streaked mohawk sits at the table, her cereal bowl and coffee cup branded with her own likeness — "Cyber Puffs" and all — while miniature versions of her populate toys and packaging around her, and a bank of television monitors behind her blazes with the image of a furious punk warrior. The whole composition plays with identity, media saturation, and self-image in a way that feels very much at home in 1997's cyberpunk landscape.
