Cyberella #12
☆ Be the first to review + Add to your collection — Join freeCyberella goes out with a bang — or at least a bold declaration — in this August 1997 finale from DC's Helix imprint. Don Cameron's cover captures the cybernetically enhanced heroine center-stage, her fiery hair blazing upward as cables and machinery frame her body, while a speech bubble proclaims "IS CANCELLED!" against a backdrop of monitor screens filled with reactive, stunned-looking faces — a wry, self-aware send-off that's hard to ignore. With Howard Chaykin writing the conclusion to "In Wuv and War," this twelfth and final issue closes out one of Helix's more visually audacious series with a flair that's equal parts punk attitude and sardonic wit.
