Cyber Force #5
Against a smoldering, ruined cityscape, Marc Silvestri's cover pencils for this fifth issue gather the Cyber Force ensemble in a striking tableau — a green-haired warrior stands atop the group wielding twin weapons, flanked by two heavily augmented male figures bearing glowing yellow cybernetic enhancements, while a young red-haired woman crouches alongside a massive wolf, and a skeletal figure looms ominously in the background. The worn, battle-scarred aesthetic gives the whole image a post-apocalyptic weight that feels hard-earned rather than simply stylized. Best of all, this issue was released free of charge, making it a genuinely accessible entry point into the Top Cow Universe from an impressive creative team including Khoi Pham, Laura Braga, and colorists Arif Prianto and Andy Troy.
