Playboy Weston is convicted and executed for a murder he didn't commit. The district attorney Dexter knew of his innocence, but used the case to become governor. Months later Dexter is poetically killed by a falling statue of justice and has to appear before a jury of ghosts. Dexter is sentenced to clear Weston's name - and does so.
