"The Fatal Switch" follows Kevin, a grave digger who schemes to rob a wealthy burial victim by digging an unscheduled hole in the cemetery ground and hiding the corpse, planning to split the proceeds with a man named Lorstan who resembles the dead man. When Kevin attempts to execute the plan using a rented car, Lorstan is killed in an explosion, and Kevin is caught by police. The story concludes with Kevin imprisoned and revealed to have been part of Nat Mulloy's mob, ultimately facing justice for his crimes.
