A story concludes with Rube Ventris, a hardened criminal living by his gun, meeting his end when shot by a rival—an ironic fate for a man who lived by violence. Six months earlier, a young delinquent is placed in a rehabilitation center where he is successfully reformed and cured of his criminal tendencies. In a separate tale, two criminals who forced an airliner down and stole two million dollars attempt to escape, but their plan unravels when one of them is shot, leading to their capture by police.
