# Crime and Punishment #66 A criminal named Nick, who has evaded capture for six weeks, hides in a Kansas City freight yard where he encounters two accomplices, Lugo and Charley. During a violent confrontation, Nick is shot and killed by police after attempting to escape across the railroad tracks. The police use tire track evidence and the license number from the getaway car to trace and apprehend the remaining criminals, including Pete and Joe, as the gang is systematically rounded up.
