“Afraid To Open the Door!”

In "Afraid To Open the Door!", a desperate thief takes refuge in a reclusive scientist’s isolated chamber, only to be trapped between two mysterious doors. With the scientist’s chilling warning echoing—choose wrong, and you’re lost in a shadow world of unknown horrors—the thief must wait, frozen in suspense, as he watches for the next soul to pass through one of the doors. Dan Loprino’s stark, expressive art brings the tension to life, while Joe Maneely’s iconic cover captures the dread of the unseen.
