Crazy Magazine #62

Marvel's irreverent humor magazine returns with issue #62, and Bob Larkin's cover sets the tone perfectly: a disheveled, slump-shouldered sad sack sits on the floor, hair smoldering from apparent misfortune, while beside him stands a "Realistic KISS Action Figure" — a caricature of Gene Simmons in full bat-winged stage regalia, tongue out and ready to rock. It's a wonderfully deadpan gag that captures exactly what Crazy — "The Magazine That Dares to Be Dumb" — does best in 1980.
