This September 1999 issue of Cracked takes aim at the summer blockbuster Wild Wild West, with cover art by Jeff Wong featuring exaggerated caricatures of the film's two leads — one riding atop the other as if he were a horse — in full Western gear. The headline "We Horse Around With Wild Wild West!" sets the tone perfectly for the irreverent parody inside, titled "The Wild Wild Mess." Rounding out the issue are promised send-ups of Austin Powers, the WNBA, and Saved by the Bell, making this a solid snapshot of pop culture at the tail end of the '90s.
